我敬愛的延世大學皮膚外科鄭奇陽教授 Professor Kee-Yang Chung
因為疑似為朴槿惠前總統做偽證
於2017-05-18南韓法院宣布「立即逮捕」及「一年刑期」
目前所知是一到兩個月後會有二審
鄭奇陽教授在近幾年來
持續參與台灣皮膚科醫學會學術活動
並且無條件接受包括我在內等多位新生代皮膚科醫師
到首爾延世大學附設醫院 (Severance Hospital) 皮膚外科進修
以下是我紀錄我所認識的鄭奇陽教授
並衷心希望他能夠盡快平安無事
Professor Chung Has the Greatest Support

I met Professor Chung at the spring conference of the Taiwanese Dermatological Association in 2014. I started to feel interested about autologous fat grafting. At that time, no doctor at my former department was doing that surgery. So I asked for his approval to visit his office in Yonsei University Hospital in Seoul. He suggested me to attend the Eastern Asian Dermatological Conference in Jeju Island first, then to visit his office as a combo trip. It was a fantastic idea! I shadowed his procedures, including energy based device treatments, scar revision, fat grafting, liposuction, and Mohs surgery for sure. I visited his office again in 2015 following a cadaver workshop held by Professor Hee-Jin Kim of Yonsei University. I always remember his generosity as treating all his staff dinner after a tiring day of work! Although he is a world renowned professor and researcher, he is so humble and nice toward every patient.
We have met and participated together on several occasions in both US and non-US venues. I enjoy his humor and inspirations so much! Subsequently, he approved several visiting physicians from my former department and other hospitals in Taiwan unconditionally. I believe a man who is interested in birdwatching and stargazing is someone who has a kind soul.
Professor Chung is one of the International Traveling Mentors of the Amerian Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Inspired by his great work, I was nominated by the founder of International Traveling Mentor Program, Professor Lawrence Field, to join the same program. Hopefully we can contribute to education together in the near future!
